Start the day with an early morning Wilpattu safari, spotting elephants, leopards, sloth bears, and other wildlife. Continue to Anuradhapura, an ancient city filled with sacred sites, stupas, and historical monuments.

Visit Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, followed by a walk through the Ritigala Forest Monastery ruins. In the afternoon, enjoy a Minneriya National Park safari, famous for the “Gathering” of wild elephants.
